Description:        First Shift position Managing and planning of Setup and machining operations of CNC controlled equipment mostly mills and lathes.  Must be able to read prints, specifications, and put together action plans.  Work closely with the Production and Quality Cells managing projects that ensure timely completion at the best possible cost and use of resources.  Will review methods and processes while coaching subordinates in best practices and high synergy.   Must be knowledgeable in all aspects of machining, programming, tool design and implementation.  A BS in Engineering or Technical is desired, but will look at a combination of education and related experience. Description: High profile position with growth

Position is with an International manufacturing organization located between Rochester and Syracuse that is known for their high precision products with a variety of commercial applications. The successful candidate will have a wide range of experience covering product build and value add within a high precision manufacturing environment. Will observe and benchmark current processes with an eye for maximizing process with improvement to throughput, methods, tooling, quality, and cost savings. Will investigate sources of deviation and anomalies by employing improvement along with documentation and training of the same. Process includes CNC machining along with assembly. Process is fairly automated, but company wants to move forward with an initiative aimed at continuous improvement. A BS in Engineering with exposure and solid experience in the aforementioned area.
